What cakes do you make?

Do you have a price list you can send me?

Starting prices (as well as shapes and sizes) for cakes can be found on the order form. These are for Good Good Cake’s signature elaborately decorated buttercream cakes. If you’d like something a little simpler, simply ask for a quote.

Prices for custom cakes will be a little higher than those chosen off the menu, and prices for larger celebration cakes, multi-tiered cakes, and wedding cakes are POA

How much notice do you need to make a cake?

As much notice as possible! Two weeks ahead of the due date is ideal, but sometimes spaces open up, and occasionally we can accommodate orders with one week’s notice. Please be aware that popular times such as weekends fill up quickly, and last minute spots are not always available, so plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

You’ll also find all available dates in my calendar on in the order form.

Will you copy another baker’s design?

Politely, no. I respect the work of other bakers and will not copy another’s design. If you see something you like on someone else’s page, we can discuss a design that pays respect to it, but chances are if it’s not like what I already do, it’s because I can’t!

Is everything vegan?

No, but a lot of what I make can be made vegan on request. Make sure you include any dietary requirements in the order form, located in the order tab.

Can you make me a gluten free cake?

Yes! We make our own special blend of gluten free flour that is also nut free! If you’d like a gluten free cake, simply include it in the Dietaries tab on the order form.

Please note that while we take care to make sure your cake remains free from contamination, it will be made in a kitchen that also uses gluten. Therefore we state we have no way to ensure the cake will be 100% coeliac friendly. If this is a concern we regret to inform you we won’t be able to fulfil your order.

Are you able to cater to allergies?

I take allergies VERY seriously, so while I take the upmost care to avoid contamination, my kitchen is not an allergy-free space. There is always the risk of contact with gluten, eggs, dairy and nuts so if in doubt, go without.

Do you deliver?

Yes! While I appreciate pick-up from HQ in Preston, I can provide delivery. At the moment, delivery is only within the metro Melbourne area, and a delivery fee will be calculated based on distance travelled.

Yes! I love making wedding cakes! Send me a message via the contact page to discuss sizes, prices, and flavour options.

Do you make your cakes and treats from scratch?

Of course! Everything is made on site by hand, with the upmost care and the best ingredients!

I sent you an order request and i haven’t heard back! what should i do?

Rest assured you will hear from me soon. GGC has a staff of one (two when my amazing partner helps out), so it can sometimes take a little while to get back to you. If it’s been a few days, double check that your contact email you wrote on the order form is correct, as a typo will see my response bounce back. Also, check your junk folder. I sometimes end up lurking in there!
